Lodhi Garden

Lodhi Garden

The Lodhi Garden is a wonderful example of of romantic gardens. It is a place for all the modern day Lovers to meet and take a stroll. It was built in the the Sayyid and Lodi Dynasties and was created as a place for burial and remembrance in the 15th and Sixteenth centuries. Under British Rule it was taken over by Lady Willingdon Park but after Indian Independence it was redesigned for public use and has been admired by many visitors since then, both foreign and domestic as a place of splendor. You will encounter a number of tombs on site which are fascinating to visit.
